RATING APPEALS

Nabarro McAllister & Co undertake appeals against Business Rates in respect of retail, industrial and office buildings of all sizes.  Appeals will be submitted where it is considered appropriate to the District Valuers office and negotiations will take place with the District Valuer in an attempt to renegotiate the Rateable Value.

The work is carried out on a "no win no fee" basis.  Initial assessment will be made as to whether there is justification for an appeal and whether it is worthy to do so.  Once the appeal has been made then the negotiations will take place in accordance with the District Valuers time table to seek to reduce the rate.  Where necessary representations can be made at Local Valuation Tribunal or Lands Tribunal if appropriate.
